Transition
Rowan Tree
After you have accepted a place at The Rowan Tree:
We will contact you during the Summer term and send information to your home address. The information will include parent information, pupil transition photographs and a booklet for you to fill in to gather information about your child or young person.
A member of the Senior Leadership Team will visit your child or young person at their current nursery or school, speak to their 1:1 or key worker and gather information about your child.
You will be invited to a Coffee afternoon to meet some of the team that will be working with your child.
You will get a booklet for your child containing photographs or their classroom and class staff.
The final two weeks of term your child or young person will be scheduled to visit their new class, this usually happens supported by their 1:1 or key worker. The staff that will be working with your child or young person will be on hand to spend time with your child or young person and chat with the 1:1 or key worker.
In September:
Your child or young person will start full time.
On the first day you will be given a QR code or be sent an email to join your classes Class Dojo, from then you can speak to your class team directly and all information will be placed on Dojo.
