Parents Evenings
We believe that strong collaboration between home and school is key to supporting the development and success of every young person. Our Parents’ Evenings provide a vital opportunity for families to meet with teachers and staff to discuss their child's progress, share insights, and work together to ensure the best possible outcomes.
What to Expect:
- Personalised Discussions: Teachers and staff will share progress, highlighting academic achievements, social development, and personal milestones. We will also address any areas where additional support might be beneficial. There will also be an opportunity to look through evidence of learning (however this may look for you child), e.g, work books and learning pictures journeys.
- Individualised Approach: We understand that every child is unique, and we make it a priority to tailor conversations to your child's specific needs and learning style.
- Q&A Sessions: Parents are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback about their child's learning experience and any concerns they may have.
- Support and Resources: Information about additional services, resources, and strategies for supporting your child at home will also be available.
Date and Time: Parents' Evenings are typically held during the Autumn and Summer Terms. We will notify you in advance of the specific dates and times. In the summer term, you will also get the opportunity to meet next years class teacher if they are changing.
How to Book: Your class teacher will send out times and ask for you to pick your top 2 preferred times and we will do our best to accommodate these.
Accessibility: We understand that some families may require specific accommodations to ensure a productive meeting. Please let us know if you need any additional support, such as interpreting services, wheelchair access, or extended meeting time.
Contact Us: If you have any questions or need further information about our Parents' Evenings, don’t hesitate to reach out to the school office or via email.
We look forward to see you to these important events and continuing our partnership to support your child’s educational journey.
