Wellbeing & Pastoral Support
At Rowan High School, we pride ourselves on the support we offer to our students in which isn’t limited to their classroom education. We know that throughout school life our students and their families may face challenges and barriers. Pastoral support has long been at the center of life at Rowan High and we understand that pupil well-being, happiness and safety underpins development.
Form tutors are the daily point of contact for our students. As the first line of support they build positive and trusting relationships with students and their families throughout the academic year.
Miss Clayton is the Pastoral Lead at Rowan High School.
Miss Clayton is involved with any student or family who have input from Social Care or the Early Help service. She arranges parent coffee mornings & training and is happy for you to contact her if you need to explore what support is on offer and you can access.
Rowan High School has an onsite school Counsellor of a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Referrals for students can be made through speaking to the Form Tutor or Miss Clayton.
