At Rowan Park and The Rowan Tree we encourage children to explore and learn about the World around them. We explore the local community working on our travel training skills while we do this, we explore local parks and forest schools using our buckets to collect natural items to use in other subjects in school including Art and design and Maths. We encourage families to support us in recognising themselves as younger children plus their family members, using videos and photographs. We support the use of technology as a communication and teaching tool using a variety of switch and battery operated toys alongside computers and iPads.
