At Rowan Park and The Rowan Tree we promote the Understanding of early mathematical concepts throughout the curriculum and throughout the school environment. We provide frequent and varied opportunities for children to explore mathematical equipment to develop positive attitudes and interests in mathematics. We encourage children to ‘have a go’ with a variety of resources in whole group, small groups and 1:1 Maths lessons. 

We enjoy Maths inside and outside the classroom, including water and sand play and various activities out in the local forest and park areas with our buckets!
